Molly's Minnie Mouse Birthday Party
February 17, 2014
Just one year ago Molly Emma Wheeler was born in
Shreveport Louisiana. It was indeed a joyous and emotionally
charged day for us all.
It has been a year of joy to watch this little miss
grow into a thriving one year old.
We celebrated her Birthday last week.
She is sugar and spice and everything nice-even when she loses
her temper.
At least in my mind she is...one of the many perks of being a
Grandparent...
This is the family of three now- this is their story-One year ago.
Molly loved her smash cake a total therapeutic delight! Nothing like
a good hand massage in creamy frosting and moist chocolate cake.
The cake before serving.
Rebecca chose to do a Minnie Mouse theme party complete with
activities for children of all ages. Decorating Minnie Mouse sugar
cookies was a huge hit.
Handmade Pom poms from Molly's baby shower have been saved
and were used as decorations for her Birthday party-I love these
little invites too.
Minnie Mouse cupcakes-these just tickle me-mini oreos for the ears!
Gramps and Molly-Rebecca and I and the goodie bags-
Naturally, no Minnie Mouse party is complete without ears and of
course bows!
Happy Birthday sweet Molly we love you!!

Jemma,
ReplyDeleteA Minnie Mouse party! I'm going to send Jess over here to take a look. Disney is her absolute favorite! Molly's party turned out so nice, with so many creative ideas. I love the Minnie Mouse cupcakes and the polka dot favor bags. I'm a polka dot girl too. And she's even wearing a polka dot dress, how cute. All kids love to decorate their own sugar cookies, what a great idea. You look so lovely here with your daughter, Jemma, and I love the t-shirt she is wearing. That heart-shaped cake is delightful. So much fun!
Have a wonderful week.
Love,
~Sheri

ReplyDeleteThis is just adorable! I remember the Disney parties.. and miss them so much. It's fun to re-live all this through our grandchildren:):) The cupcakes are so fun! Gorgeous family;)

ReplyDeleteWow, what a gorgeous girl Molly is! Happy belated birthday to her and I'm so loving the minnie mouse cupcakes!!
ReplyDeleteWell, of course I had to go back and read the story of Molly's triumphant arrival ... so scary when things turn upside down. I was induced with my first baby and it was not too bad. My second was born within an hour of me getting to the hospital, which just made my head spin and all the nurses & doctor laugh! So glad everything worked out for your daughter and Molly (and for the whole family too). Gosh! Molly is the most adorable little cutie pie!! Those dimples! that smile! & those little rings along her arms ;) I gave my daughter a Minnie Mouse birthday one year too, the same year we took her to Disneyworld, and she was just over the moon to meet Minnie Mouse in person just a few days after her birthday. So cute! Thanks for sharing your adorable granddaughter's 1st birthday party ... what a beautiful family you have Jemma ... and you look stunning in the photo with your daughter! Wendy x
