Nothing Is Sweeter Than Love

Nothing is sweeter than love, and I know this to be true, especially when I see loving, warm smiles

on my children 's faces, and in my minds eye it is as if they were toddlers just a moment ago.

Nothing is sweeter than love, when I hear the the sweet voices of my grandchildren calling my name.

My heart truly swells with such love for these precious gifts of life.

Nothing is sweeter than love, when my husband holds our grandchildren

ever so tightly that they wiggle and squeal with utter delight.



Since I have been savoring these tender moments in the life of my family,

it seems only logical to prepare a sweet dessert table for two, for Valentines Day.





                                                  Desserts for the hubby and for me.




I have put together two different dessert tables and I just can't decide which one to use,

So, please help me choose...





First choice, is Silver and Peonies.




Second Choice Frosted Heart.











Soft and glowing, maybe a little Winter Wonderlandy-maybe...

    I was so SURE I would choose the peony one... because I LOVE me some peonies... but, there is something so soft and beautiful about the frosted version... I think I'm going to have to go with it. =)

    Too hard to choose just one. They are both so wonderful. The heart cookies look so nice too! And the red pillow is perfect for Valentine's Day.

    Okay my favorite is Silver and Peonies - but to be honest they were both beautiful. Why did I never think of putting chocolate into pink sugar cookies - you are brilliant and lovely usual.

    I am having trouble choosing, I love them both! Not to mention that I haven't even thought about decorating for valentines day. I better get a move on. I love to make sugar cookies and glaze them in shades of pink and red. I love your little sugar sparkled cookies with the Hershey kisses. That's a great idea! I love scrolling through your photos Jemma!

    How can one choose as they are all beautiful. I think it's so cool the way you are always thinking of ways to celebrate life and it's special moments. I know your family is thrilled with your acts of love....

    Jemma, I love them all, but I have to say that those pink cookies with the chocolate kiss is a must. They look so good! I love your white Valentine tree. I have thought about getting one myself. I really love these pictures because they say winter white and silver with a splash of pink and red, so pretty. You and your husband are going to have a fantastic Valentine's Day because you put so much in everything you do to make things special.

    And you're right......nothing is sweeter than love, and just what I needed to hear today.

    Silver and Peonies! I love that mix of the rough wood crate, the silver jug and the peonies.

    What you wrote about your husband holding the grandchildren is so true. Nothing melts my heart faster than seeing my husband (family nickname The Grinch) hold our little granddaughter and seeing that smile on his face and seeing her smile back at her PawPaw.

    What lovely words expressing the joys of love, and yes, nothing is sweeter. As for the two pretty displays, I have to go with the bright pink peonies in that gorgeous silver vessel, surrounded by all the beautiful bonbons!
