Hello friends!Well, I am just beside myself with Christmas joy and anticipation of my first Hometalk live DIY tutorial. You know me and my Christmas happiness, the music, lights and magic.Simple abundance and gratitude are my guides for maneuvering through life and Christmas is such a perfect time to practice both of those mindsets. So, today I am saying thank you to you!You have made this past year fantastic! You have loved me, accepted me and have given me such joy and encouragement that here I am just about to make my first live video with Hometalk.Did I just say a live video...The house is decorated, a few of the presents wrapped.I have made brownies, cooked pasta, laughed like a child and loved on those that have taken the time to surround me.I have done my share of reminiscing of those that have gone on before me and held them close to my heart.I am thankful.A few packages wrapped just waiting to be loaded into Santa's sleigh.
Candles that burn with the glow of hope and salvation.
A white and feathery winged Angel adorns the top of the traditional red Christmas Tree.
The home fires burn with a gentle glow as our Texas temperature dip below freezing.Oh yes, we have been waiting for those cooler temps. The clouds have hovered all day long, but just prior to sunset the sun suddenly comes alive and casts a beautiful afternoon glow in our family room.I always have a Christmas village set up somewhere, I love them.Do you??Sometimes it is snow-babies and sometimes it is this sweet Christmas village that I purchased ions ago from the Dollar General in Tueplo Mississippi.I remember buying an entire village for each one of my oldest kids too. These are timeless keepsakes...
I will always enjoy a Traditional Red Christmas.
It would do my heart good to know that you are out there somewhere! So if you could please join Hometalk and I for my live DIY and the chance to win a Hometalk Tote on Monday December 12th I'd be ever so thrilled. You can even comment to let me know that you are there...smiles...I would love that you know.
Thank you again for dropping by!xoxo
Your home is looking so beautiful and cozy. Can't wait to see your Home Talk video.

Love all the traditional red and green so pretty and the pine cones on the dining table is so lovely. I can sense the joy through your words and it's fantastic. I use to have a Christmas Village, you guessed it, I passed that on too, actually I boxed it up for my kids. Love how you enjoy each day, it's very inspiring. I logged off Facebook for the year however for you I'll do my best to be there. I set the alarm on my phone as a reminder. How exciting!! Keep Enjoying Life and let's plan to get together in January. :)

Good morning Jemma! I am a day behind on blogging, but I am so happy to see parts of your home that I've never seen! Lovely! And like you, I am enjoying the simplicity of sitting quietly just watching the twinkle of the lights. The best part is sharing the light with people you love, and you have an abundance of family! I love your great room, the beams, the hearth; you have decorated so beautifully and I wish you continuous joy! Much love dear heart.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy seeing your beautiful home. Your kitchen is wonderful. Loved seeing the family room and how you've decorated it for the holiday. The stonework on the fireplace is fantastic! Is the live Hometalk video you did available to see again?
ReplyDeleteJemma, your home is so beautifully decorated, and I'm lovin' all the RED you have in your décor. You know how much I love red and white and silver at Christmas. Your fireplace looks so cozy, and it's nice that you have the cold temperatures now that winter is approaching. I know how long you waited for it, as you had many long hot Texas days. Oh, how I love your Christmas village. I've always wanted one, and now I'm enjoying yours so much. That plaid throw is gorgeous, love that. And your kitchen is very charming. It must be a nice space for you to make all those holiday goodies. Wishing you all the love and beauty of this special season, dearest Jemma.

ReplyDeleteJemma, your home is absolutely gorgeous! It looks like it belongs in a magazine. I adore your beautiful kitchen along with the wonderful beams on the ceiling of the living room. I saw your Hometalk video yesterday, and you did a wonderful job. Congratulations, and Merry Christmas!!!
ReplyDeleteYour home is looking wonderful, sweet friend - so festive and cozy! You just reminded me of my Thomas Kinkade Christmas Village that my ex husband still has in my old home....sad, I collected those houses for years. Hopefully he'll give them to my daughters some day. Merry Christmas!!
