Hello friends! I am happy to welcome you to our 2017 Snowman tablescape and DIY Pompom Christmas Home Tour. For this Christmas tour I thought I would share with you all our sunny breakfast niche, snowman Christmas table and some DIY Pompom décor.
I had so much fun decorating our kitchen and breakfast nook for this Christmas Tour. Our kitchen and nook are my two favorite spots in our home. My goal for this project was to economically create a bright and happy snowman theme tablescape and incorporate handmade pompoms into the décor.

I have dedicated these two rooms to all of the playful folks in the world who love to bake, make, craft, and create! So cheers to all of the children in the land, to the child within each one of us and to those who believe in the magic of Christmas!

Before I continue on however I'd like to share with you a little bit about this tour. This post is part of a week long tour of 26 homes guaranteed to ignite your Christmas creativity. I just know that there is something here for every style, so be sure to check out each of these homes! Links are at the end of this post.
I have infused our Christmas table with coordinating elements and most of them came from my own stash! It's kind of thrilling to discover that you have enough stuff, and some that you may have forgotten you even had!
Please come along now as I invite you to join me in my happy place, where I share some of my treasures from the past.
Leave those grown-up worries and concerns at the front door for jus a bit and come right on in to our breakfast nook. The snowman table is set, the coffee is brewing, the hot cocoa is simmering. You and I my friend are going to have a whimsical morning with playful and merry snowman, mischievous elves, fresh flowers and even a pompom or two.
Who knows you might even find a dish of ice-cream without a single calorie, did you know this is how snowmen keep their svelte figures...
I have designed the theme of this whimsical Snowman and Pompom Christmas around snowman plates gifted from my youngest daughter and my new found passion for making and decorating with pompoms.

| Handmade Pompom Wreath and Pompom Garland |
DIY POM POM GARLAND
I am excited to share with you one of the easiest ways to incorporate pompoms into garland.Simply tie handmade pompoms, I used, turquoise, red, gray, black and white handmade pompoms, to premade rustic and pinecone garland and hang them along windows, doorways, mantels or trees. If you want to be super creative and make your own garland from scratch just use ribbon, wire, or twine, then attach the pompoms.

EASY EMBROIDERY HOOP POM POM WREATH
Keeping with my whimsical pompom theme décor for our breakfast nook windows I added embroidery pompom wreaths.These are very simple to make. Just hot glue winter faux greenery, handmade pompoms and mini Christmas ornaments on a 14 inch embroidery hoop then added a jolly elf. So easy!

Short on décor for a Holiday centerpiece just add some seasonal wooden cutouts. You can easily make them yourself with plywood, leftover wood from projects and a stencil. If you have a steady hand you could write on them with markers, acrylic paint, or paint pens.

ALTERNATIVE VASES
I love using alternative vases such as cups, creamers, mugs, jars etc... for vases. They add such interest to a table-setting and color too! I tucked in some bright red carnations and baby's breath. I think this is a nice alternative to poinsettias for this whimsical Snowman table setting. |

I Love how lanterns add just the right amount of charm too.
Love my Snowman cookie jar (another darling keepsake) and it is filled with those wonderful limited edition Oreo's dipped in white chocolate. Have you every had one of them? If not you MUST!
