Easter Luncheon: Setting A Cottage Style Tablescape
March 31, 2020
Good Morning and welcome to an Easter tablescape blog hop!
Today I am sharing my interpretation of a cottage style tablescscape using a variety of bunnies, plenty of gingham and a bountiful centerpiece.
This is a casual setting which is perfect for an Easter Luncheon.
As much as I would have enjoyed preparing this table outdoors our weather is still quite chilly so there won't be a picnic on our patio for awhile.
Although I am quite certain that we will be seeing some lovley outdoor tablescapes today and I can't wait!
Thank you so very much to our lovely hostess Chloe Crabtree, I often times refer to her as our fearless leader because she is just that!
Chloe is well known for her blog Celebrate and Decorate and this gal has the ability to round up various groups of creators and set us to task with kindness and encouragement.
She is one in a million! Thank you Chloe!
I
am thankful to be here today and participating with these lovely women who continue
to inspire so many of us through their writings, creativity and décor.
This hop is designed to take away our worries, if only for a little while.
So, I invite you to sit back relax and just scroll.
Even through the current uncertainties that
face us all, we are all working as a community of creators, homemakers, and women to uphold one another and our families.
After all we are not
in a prison we are in our homes and as such we shall decorate, craft and keep
those home fires burning!
So today I present 20+ bloggers! All of the links to the other participants will be at the end of my post.
A few of the items that I am sharing for this tablescape I have made and several of them I have shared on my FB page as well as Craft and Chat live.
Here in the high country we still have snow on the ground so I am not seeing one blooming flower anywhere, which leads me to making paper flowers!
A clip here and snip there and the next I know I made this light and airy napkin ring from paper card stock, chenille wire and mini felt ball.

I designed this cottage style tablescape with a slight ode to Beatrix Potter, a dash of simple whimsy, a hint of cottage charm,
nostalgia of days gone by and then I mixed in a variety of bunnies and a few
eggs too.
In summary this is a table that Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail would love to check out, and just perhaps they did...

I designed and created these colorful decoupage eggs and I had the best time doing so!
Beginning on the left I used a floral napkin, the middle one is a mosaic using dyed and crushed egg shells and the egg on the far right is a patchwork quilt design using fabric.
Handmade bows top off each of the eggs.
Thank you so much for visiting me today!

ReplyDeleteJemma, I just lost my long comment. Your table makes me smile, it is so happy. There are so many lovely details that I could go on and on, but I won’t. The decoupaged eggs are one of my favorites, maybe because I enjoyed the video watching the process. I do love all the pattern and color play, it is so cheerful and is a lovely welcome to spring and Easter. I know you are anxious for the snow to melt so you can start digging and planting. Stay safe and Happy Easter my friend!
