Vintage Flower Truck Thanksgiving Centerpiece
Hi Friends and welcome to Thanksgiving Central over here at Jemma's. I am on a mission to bring us all as much Thanksgiving inspiration as I can in the next three weeks.😀 To help me out I am joining Kippi At Home for a Thanksgiving roundup. All of the links to the other nine creative bloggers are at the end of this post. Enjoy!
I am having fun with this darling replica of a Vintage Truck that I found at Target. I built my outdoor tablescape around this truck and the nostalgia of days gone by to create this Vintage Flower Truck Thanksgiving Centerpiece.
Now that the weather is a bit cooler Dave and I are enjoying beautiful sunsets and dinner by the pool.
We aren't sure what Thanksgiving Day weather will be like, but we have a feeling we will be frying a Turkey and truly eating outside with our sweet family.
Alfresco Thanksgiving Dinner |
I felt as thought the Vintage truck needed some height so I placed it on a rustic serving board with metal handles. You can find a similiar one here.
The wooden serving board also creates a set space and the Truck doesn't look lost on the table.
Serving boards, dough bowls and Tobacco baskets are a great decorating necessity in my book. They help me stay focused on that one space...otherwise I go a little crazy.
Wooden Boards are very multi purpose, they can be used to make a Charcutier Board.
Take a peek at the one we made last Thanksgiving.
The bed of the truck is quite deep which made creating this centerpiece a ton faster and easier, every item stayed in place!

That is the cutest vintage truck, Jemma. It looks delightful as a centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table. Target is the best, and I always find goodies there for each holiday. The orange napkins are pretty to tuck away the silverware nicely for dinner. And those Italian lemon cookies, oh my!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have happy and healthy November days, dear Jemma, and you always inspire me with your creative posts.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous outdoor Thanksgiving Centerpiece and table. I really like the napkin folded to form a pocket.
Darling centerpiece Jemma. I love this vintage truck. The napkin fold is so perfect as a pocket for the flatware. The table looks so pretty with the fall colors. The orange and aqua look lovely together. Thanks for sharing your pretty Autumn table. xo
ReplyDeleteSuper cute Jemma. I love those little trucks too. How nice to be able to have your Thanksgiving outdoors in that sunny Florida weather. Everything looks so great.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday.
Hello dearest Jemma! I too pulled out my vintage truck to play with in order to prepare a string of holiday photos. How darling is yours as you inspire for the up and coming holiday. What a year...families trying their best to connect and travel being limited. But we make our tables and set the tone of joy, thanksgiving and love. You do all so graciously, my friend!
ReplyDeleteSo many cute ideas here, Jemma! Although I love the little vintage truck, I am particularly partial to your cream and white table, since I love decorating with neutrals. It was fun hopping with you!

Your vintage flower truck centerpiece is adorable. Wish there were real flower trucks making rounds where I live. I would be a good customer.

Wow, those lemon cookies look delicious.
Your vintage truck centerpiece is so cute, Jemma! I love how you styled it on the serving board. And the fabulous plaid throw you used as a tablecloth looks so cozy and really brings out the vibrant orange in the truck. Those lemon cookies look so good, too! It was fun hopping with you!
ReplyDeleteI think I should have made off with one of the toddlers trucks yesterday. This is darling!
ReplyDeleteI love all of the bright colors you used! Not to mention succulents are my favorite.
ReplyDeleteCute table with that adorable truck! Love shades of blue with orange for fall!
ReplyDeleteJoyce that table makes me smile. I love the fall colors and how fun that it is outside! I have an old truck that I pull out for Christmas but I'm thinking that fall is the perfect time to use it. And I can't wait to try that cookie recipe!
