When we moved into our new home I was completely smitten with our double front doors. I still think they are pretty wonderful and I do love all of the natural light that infuses our entry with a soft glow. But, these doors are a bit of a beast to decorate. I now call them double trouble because of the expense of decorating them. But where there is a will there is a way and using two 16 inch grapevine wreath forms and seasonal picks sure makes two pretty and economical DIY Grapevine Christmas Wreaths! Today I am sharing supplies and tutorial on how to make two wreaths in under 40 minutes!

Frosting DIY Grapevine Wreath With Adhesive and Glitter |
Frosting The Grapevine Wreaths
Growing up in Idaho we always had a White Christmas, whether there was a light dusting of snow, a heavy snowfall or a hard frost!
With these two grapevine wreaths seeming a little humdrum for my liking I decided to Frost my wreaths and re-create a nostalgic frosty Christmas too by using Scotch Super 77 and glitter.
Before I added anything else to the wreath I "Frosted," them both first by simply spraying them lightly with Scotch Super 77 and then sprinkling glitter on top of the adhesive.

If you have never used Scotch Super 77 multipurpose adhesive spray now is the time to invest in a can. Seriously it is the neatest crafting supply and it costs about eight dollars and lasts forever.
I used this same "Frosting," process on a Spring Project- DIY Valentine Rag Wreath.

What I love About DIY Grapevine Christmas Wreaths
The Design
In designing these two DIY Grapevine Wreaths it was important to me to be economical while at the same time not loosing the design.
I based my design on growing up in the countryside of Idaho and some childhood memories as well.😊
I incorporated a natural essence of pine cone picks, berries, birch wood, along with the sparkle of the Christmas Season by adding Christmas Baubles.
