Our cookies aren't perfect but enlisting the help of little hands make them perfect in our eyes! These festive, crisp and flavorful sugar cookies are cut out then filled with crushed candy canes and  baked. Twinkle Twinkle Star Cookies And Family Time

Twinkle twinkle Holiday Star cookies are a wonderful family baking activity.

I am always on the lookout for fun and easy ways to gather the family together in the Kitchen.
Two of my favorite ways of gathering the family together are baking and crafting.
Most every child enjoys working with dough, cookie cutters and a rolling pin.
So many great conversations take place over sweet dough and rolling out fun shapes!😍

Stained Glass Star Sugar Cookies are great for Cookie Exchanges, Gifts and Santa Too!
Stained Glass Star Sugar Cookies

We made several batches of Star Sugar Cookies over the Thanksgiving Holiday and there wasn't a single person in the house that didn't ooh or awe over their adorable and festive appearance and of course the taste is wonderful. We even had Gramps waiting in line to get his cookies to eat while riding the 4-wheeler.

  1. Your sugar peppermint cookies look scrumptious, Jemma. I love anything peppermint at Christmastime. I just bought some peppermint hot cocoa, and it was so good. I gave a few tins for presents as well. I'm loving this photo of your granddaughter and her sweet smile. These peppermint sugar cookies would be a wonderful Christmas gift for family and friends. There's something so dear about seeing little hands being creative and baking during the holidays.

    1. Hello Sheri,
Isn't peppermint just so lovely. I have become obsessed this year with the flavor and scent of peppermint. I even put a candy cane in my hot tea!
I agree with you little hands touch us grandmother's hearts in a big way.
