Thanksgiving Centerpiece Idea
While the flowers were still blooming and our weather was still moderate I decided to put this beautiful and sweet Thanksgiving Centerpiece vignette together.
I had fun picking the blooms and all of the Fall feels came together.
Today we are taking a look at creating this centerpiece by taking a vintage wooden board and some goodies around the home.
Centerpiece Details
I used a faux cream toned pumpkin for the vase.
Using a hack saw I simply cut the top of the pumpkin off, filled the pumpkin with water and arranged my homegrown blooms in the vase.
*If you are not familiar with saws please have someone help you.*
I really enjoy adding candles to the dining room table, they have a way of adding just the perfect glow and of course ambiance.
In order to add a bit of heighth to the centerpiece I placed the floral arrangement on a petite glass cake stand.
Shopping your Home
We have chatted about shopping your own home before and this is exactly what I did for everything that you see here.
My Mom gave me these special solid silver salt and pepper shakers.
They have just the right amount of tarnish on them to make me smile.
Inbetween the seasons everything gets stowed away in plastic containers and put in a closet.
One of the added benefits of this type of centerpiece is that is can easily be moved to a sideboard while dinner is being served.
Happy Thursday Everyone
