Two Easy Valentine Centerpieces
February 12, 2025
Valentine's Day is one of my favorite days.
There is just the right amount of something for everyone.
So my thoughts are this-when it comes to Valentine's Day one can never go wrong with Cupid, carnations or a Fresh Rose Centerpiece.
Add a few candles, a little silver, maybe a little whimsy too and presto love is in the air along with a little panache!
Romantic Centerpiece Using Cupid and crystal and silver candle holders.
Floral Decor Made Easy
Carnations are a great choice for an economical and beautiful bouquet.
It is Winter-my gardens are bare-but the Market has a great selection of flowers!
For this floral centerpiece I chose carnations and alstromeria they both have a long vase life.
Pro-Tip
Change the vase water daily and every few days cut a small section of the bottom of the floral stems on angle.
This keeps the blooms drinking water and creates a longer vase life.
Shop our own home
We have heard this saying throughout the years shop your own home.
It is a decorating truth.
Invest in some plastic bins and store any seasonal items that you love in these bins.
You'll be so happy that you did and funny enough they are like knew when you pull them out!
The Joy of Decorating.
Decorating for the Holidays continues to bring me joy, I thought that perhaps I might tire of decorating as the years rolled on, but it simply is not true.
Being a homemaker means so much to me.
My husband seems to enjoy the seasonal touches as much as I do-so my motto is do what brings us joy!
Whimsy, Roses and A Special Delivery Truck
This is a fun centerpiece designed for those who enjoy the playful side of Valentine's Day.
For a lighter approach to Valentine's Day I chose to use colorful roses, eucalyptus, candles, a wooden heart and of course a special floral delivery truck.
Candles and Bouquets
Tapers and pilliars add such an ambience to all of our centerpieces.
Candles brighten the table during the day time hours while creating a warm intimate glow during the evening hours.
Decorate your way, with your style, focusing on what you and your family enjoy!
Happy Valentine's Day.
